In this article, I’m going to show you 20 natural ways to treat fibroids. Fibroids are noncancerous growths that develop in or around the womb or uterus. The growths are made up of muscle and fibrous tissue and vary in size. Many women are unaware they are fibroids because they don’t have any symptoms. Approximately 1 in 3 women will have symptoms which include heavy or painful periods, lower back pain, mild pain during sex, frequent need to urinate, constipation or even pregnancy complications.
Why do fibroids develop?
The exact cause of fibroids is unknown, but they have been linked to the hormone estrogen. Estrogen is the female reproductive hormone produced by the ovaries. Fibroids usually develop during a woman’s reproductive years between the ages of 16 to 50. This is when estrogen levels are at their highest, they tend to shrink when estrogen levels are much lower (after menopause).
How you can treat fibroids?
Fibroids generally don’t need to be treated if they aren’t causing any symptoms. They’ll often shrink and disappear over time without treatment, particularly after menopause. If you don’t have any symptoms then medication to help relieve the symptoms will usually be recommended first. You should always speak to your doctor first but if you’re looking for natural treatments for fibroids we outline the 20 best below. Poor liver function leads to poor elimination of excess hormones which contribute to fibroids…and believe it or not, Dandelion is one of the best remedies for fibroids. Meditation in yoga can help reduce stress too, especially if practice frequently. Other exercises such as walking in, jogging can reduce some forms of stress and canceling may be helpful for some individuals.

Good posture is becoming a bigger issue as we continue to spend more time hunched over screens. Eventually, bad posture can have lifelong detrimental effects on our back, neck and spine. Good posture is important. It’s not just healthy but it also conveys confidence and likability to the outside world. Studies have shown that the simple act of straightening up your posture lead to increased happiness, sense of wellbeing, and confidence. Posture Correcting braces work by training and engaging your spine and surrounding muscle areas to actively align your body naturally. Looking for the best posture corrector depends on when you want to wear it (e.g. work or exercise) and for how long (all-day or just 30 min a day) and what type (posture corrector or posture “coach”)? Our guide outlines your best options.
10. TK Care Pro Ultimate Posture Corrector
The TK Care Pro Ultimate Brace is one of the more advanced (and substantial) posture correcting braces available. It’s aimed at those looking for serious results as they claim it can help correct spinal aligment in just 2 weeks. That said, it’s not the easiest thing to wear under everyday clothes. It’s excellent, however if you’ll be exercising or moving in any way and don’t mind wearing it over a t-shirt. Despite it’s mass, it’s actually very comfortable….just also noticeable. Some folks have complained that it can be difficult to put on but honestly a small price to pay for a posture brace of this quality.
9. NMT Lumbar Belt
The NMT is less of a posture corrector and more of a true lumbar belt, so if the pain you’re experiencing is focused in your lower back, this is a great option. One of the more interesting features of this belt is that it uses magnets embedded within it to stimulate circulation and bloodflow and promote “cellular detox”. They also claim this can help boost metabolism although we wouldn’t bet on that. Also includes a “Learn to Heal Through Magnet Therapy” ebook.
8. Anoopsyche Adjustable Posture Corrector
The Anoopsyche Adjustable posture corrector is one of the more popular versions on Amazon in large part because of it’s slim profile. This makes it easier to wear under every-day clothes, to work, etc. It’s also got detachable shoulder pads and is very easy to adjust. One note -unlike many of our other top picks, this one recommends that you wash by hand.
7. Truweo PCBB
The Truweo Posture Correcting Brace is currently THE #1 Best seller in Amazon. It’s light, durable and easy to wear under or over clothing. It’s easy to put on and take off and can fit a wide range of body types. If you’ve never bought a posture correcting brace before, this is a very safe bet.
6. Bigzzia Adjustable Spine Posture Corrector
The Bigzzia Adjustable Spine brace is designed to be worn under work clothes all day. It has a very sleek, minimalist design and sits very high up on the upper back so as not to be overly intrusive. It enables wide range of motion for the arms (unlike some others) and is very quick and easy to wash (which is nice if you’re wearing it all day). It’s very durable with “X-box” stitching and robust Velcro straps. If you’re looking for something to wear all day without feeling overly burdened, this is your option.
5. Lumo Lift Posture Coach
The Lumo lift technically isn’t a posture correcting brace so much as a posture correcting-app. Referred to as a “wearable posture coach”, the Lumo Lift just consists of a little tile that you wear on the front of your collar-bone. It them sends bio-feedback to your smartphone alerting you when you’re slouching or hunching over. It does this by using “angle displacement” which is measured by their patented biometric sensor. When it detects a slouch, it will send a gentle vibration to remind you to sit straight. One of the key selling points of this technology is that simply having the real-time feedback that you’re slouching is important for self-correcting…rather than relying on a posture correcting brace.
4. XNature Three-Bar Posture Corrector
The XNature Three-Bar is similar to the Bigzzia brace in design and profile (including “X-box” stitching). This one however comes with three soft “memory bars” that run along the back to firmly promote good posture (they can be removed for washing). An open shoulder strap allows for a full range of arm motion and the material is light and breathable. For very large men, some have complained that it can be difficult to take off but a lot of truck drivers swear by this brace.
3. Berlin & Daughter Back Support Brace
The Berlin & Daughter Back Support Brace is a different design which allows for two ways of wearing depending on whether you close the waistband around your sternum or your belly. Reviews have said it tends to run large but overall people find it extremely comfortable. Probably not robust enough for larger men or heavy lifting but if you’re a woman looking for a comfortable posture support brace, this is a great option.
2. Marakym Clavicle Posture Corrector
The Marakym Clavicle is probably the most minimal design of the posture correctors on this list. As a result, this is a good option for anyone that will be sweating a lot while wearing this. This is a good travel option because it’s very small (and comes with a carrying case). Depending on the user, some have complained that it can be a bit uncomfortable under the arm and like any posture correcting brace, it will take time to get used to. For a extremely minimalist brace, this is your bet.
1. Upright Go 2
The Upright Go 2 is another device in the “Posture Correcting Coach” category but unlike the Lumo, this one sits in the middle of your upper back to detect slouching. Similar to the Lumo, it will send gentle alerts if you’re slouching and is focused on developing the habit of self-correcting your posture. This is a great option for those that love data and don’t want to feel like they’re wearing a brace. Obviously it won’t offer support for heavy lifting or exercise but if teaching yourself to eradicate your posture naturally is the goal, this is an unbeatable option.

You can see what to do in this case. Some patients are already having results with home remedies. They accurately modify their diets, avoiding a surrogate in fats and including natural anti inflammatories.
There are 3 important things you can do to dramatically lessen kidney problems….all backed by science
- Change your diet
- Reverse the damage using natural remedies
Change Your Diet
Any nephrologist that may tell you that the kidney is the second fattiest the organ in the human body and therefore is also one of the most sensitive to dietary changes (for good or bad). The best thing you can do is to limit (or better eliminate) saturated fats. In 2011 the journal of the American society of nephrology linked to a diet that’s rich in fact to kidney disease. So should you just remove all the fat from your diet and try to survive on what’s left? Well, that wouldn’t be a good idea. Dietary fat is essential for our wellbeing. You should be getting about one third or less of your daily calories from fat, so that will be about 50 grams of fat on 1,500 calorie diet. The key is to increase the quality of the fats you get. Specifically a diet rich in Omega-3 was shown to be very effective in combating kidney disease.
Also, it’s good advice is to stop using cooking oils high in Omega-6 like corn, canola, vegetables, and sunflower oil and soybean oil. They are all-natural, yes but not the kind of fat you want. Synthetic hydrogenated oils and margarines should also be avoided at all costs. Replace them with rolled olive oil, rolled flaxseed oil. Also, try baking or steaming foods instead of frying or grilling things rich in Omega-3, like fish. Supplements can definitely help and it is also a good idea to try and eat fatty fish two or three times a week.
Treat the Cause, not the symptom
There are two main causes of kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. Deal with this through early screening. What most doctors are doing is just treating symptoms and complications. As a kidney patient, you will be prescribed treatment to control potassium levels, to balance the fluids in your blood and to restore the calcium you’re losing. Don’t get me wrong, all of these treatments are absolutely necessary if you want to stay alive, but isn’t enough care put on treating the cause of kidney problems? Some people think that just a couple of tablets a day to keep blood pressure under control is not enough to cure kidney disease.
So, how do you treat kidney disease naturally? Number one, Bromelain. People have been using this enzyme for centuries thanks to its antiinflammatory and pain reliever properties. According to the university of Maryland medical center, it is effective in reducing inflammation and swelling associated with infection and injuries. It has also been reported to reduce amyloid deposits in the kidneys. Bromelain is also very effective against high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. Bromelain inhibits the ability of bladder platelets to stick or clump together. Does age is still hundred milligrams two times a day. It can have interactions with blood thinners, so increasing their efficacy. Always consult your doctor before making any change in your diet. It doesn’t like taking supplements, don’t worry. Pineapple is full of Bromelain and vitamin C but very low in sodium and phosphorus.
A very nice addition to your diet. Natural remedy for kidneys. Number two, turmeric. Turmeric is plant of the ginger family and curcumin is its active ingredient. It has been used to treat a variety of ailments for at least 4,000 years. It is often used in combination with bromelain since they both have powerful anti-inflammatory properties and are known to enhancer each other properties. They’re recommended that does age is 400 to 600 milligrams of the powder per day.
Natural remedy number three, quercetin. quercetin is a flavinoid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Foods such as Anjana, red wine, green tea, berries, apples, Gingko biloba is also very rich in it. It has been found capable of reducing kidney inflammation and improve the functionality of the kidney. The recommended doses for quercetin is 600 to 800 milligrams a day. Turmeric and quercetin are often used together as a powerful mixer. Our advice is to work on your diet before starting using any supplement, adopting a diet rich in vegetables and fresh fruits and avoiding dangerous fats.
There comes a point in time where biohacking actually becomes reality. Little things that we’ve used in our lives as little ways to get that extra edge or optimize different components of our lives suddenly become actuality and things that aren’t such biohacking nerd things anymore and are more so real things that we can use in our daily life. And in this case I’m talking about red light therapy. Okay. Red light therapy started out as something that only biohacking nerds looked at because they knew some of the kind of esoteric science behind it. But as it got more popular, we’re now seeing all kinds of different research coming out proving that our cells literally are receptive to different kinds of light and it triggers all kinds of different positive cascades and chain reactions within our bodies. I’ve been using red light therapy for a long time and now as more options are available for red light therapy at home, I thought a comprehensive article makes sense.
Benefits of Red Light Therapy
So let’s dive into the benefits and what it can actually do for you. Red light therapy is also known as photo biomodulation. All it is, is essentially using a very specific kind of red light that transfers through your skin because it’s a specific wavelength and hits the cell and acts upon that cell and causes it to create more energy and do a multitude of different things, which we’ll talk about. So it’s really pretty simple in nature.
We’re just getting exposed to the proper kind of light. Now here’s what’s interesting. We a lot of times think that we only absorb light through our eyes because it’s just what we see. But the fact is our skin absorbs light. Our skin absorbs light, and that’s how our cells actually get to be able to react to that light. So if we close our eyes, our skin still recognizes that there’s light hitting it. It doesn’t just have to absorb through our eyes. If we were asleep and it was broad daylight, there’s a good chance that we’d wake up more frequently because our cells are receiving a signal that it’s daytime and it’s getting light. Now, when we start looking at the cool science of all of this, we understand the mitochondria, which is the powerhouse of the cell, actually has a receptor that can pick up this light.
It’s called cytochrome C oxidase…and it picks up a red light specifically. So the mitochondria is what produces ATP. It’s what produces energy within ourselves. So when we have this activity, we have this light coming in. It acts upon the mitochondria, specifically the cytochrome C oxidase, and causes a reaction. Now, what we do know from a lot of this research is that there’s a huge increase in ATP production when a cell is exposed to red light. There’s also a huge reduction in reactive oxygen species, which means we’re having less overall cellular waste. So we’re producing more energy with less waste. It’s not exactly clear why this happens but it happens. The other cool thing is that it what’s called nitric oxide synthase, nitric oxide activity within the body, so it makes it so that we have an increase in blood flow.
So even though we’re having this positive reaction at the site of one cell, it can have an overall reaction throughout the rest of the body. So let’s go ahead and talk about five different benefits so that it all makes sense. Now there’s a lot more than five, but we’ll just stick to five today.
Red Light Therapy for Anti-Inflammatory Effects
The first one is the anti-inflammatory effect. If you’ve read other articles on findthecureinnature.com, you know I’m always talking about inflammation. Inflammation is something that is very, very powerful within our bodies, and it’s the root of just about everything. Well, studies have now shown that when you utilize red light therapy for even a small amount, you have a significant decrease in what’s called tumor necrosis factor one alpha, and then a significant decrease in what’s called interleukin one alpha and a subsequent decrease in interleukin six. These are all components of the inflammatory system that cascade inflammation throughout our body.
So if we can combat this through red light therapy through whatever means it is, that’s a powerful thing in and of itself. But that’s kind of a broad one.
Red Light Therapy for Skin Health
So let’s go ahead and talk about the next one, which is something a lot more specific and that is skin health. Now a lot of people notice when they utilize red light therapy that their skin tone improves. And some people think that it’s just the simple fact of light hitting your face, that’s something different. No, the fact is our complexion actually improves. It gets better because red light therapy improves collagen production within the body and it does so quite dramatically. It does go through an interesting way. It improves what are called fibroblasts, but also improves what’s called platelet derived growth factors. So what that means is it’s a growth factor that’s derived literally from our platelets within our blood and our blood plasma.
And it applies it to our skin. Now we have an increase of fibroblasts. We have a direct increase of college and being able to go to the site and do its job. Fibroblasts are like the scaffolding for our collagen, the scaffolding for our skin. We have fiber blasts, we have elastin, we have pro collagen type ones and threes. All these things play a role. But fibroblasts are the core of that. So if we have an increase in that directly, we know that we’re able to build better skin. Now this is more than likely a result of what is called decreased a pop ptosis. So normally a cell has like a pre programmed cell death, like it’s designed to die at a certain time. Really, unless it’s acted upon by an unbalanced force, for lack of a better way of saying it. So when a cell is programmed to diet, it just regenerates.
Sometimes we experience a premature cell death that isn’t supposed to occur. So what’s happening is if we can stop that premature cell death, then we actually allow the body a chance to catch up and build on top of something that would normally have to just overbalance or overcome what’s already being lost. So in other words, we’re improving. The amount of cells are actually available for healing, not just replacing old cells. And then of course, it improves what’s called vascular perfusion, which is just the ability of blood to actually leave the actual artery or vein and get to where it needs to go. Once a capillary hits an organ, well obviously there has to be a level of perfusion, so if we can increase that, we can increase the delivery of nutrients. So that’s exactly why red light therapy improves in the skin department.
Red Light Therapy for Better Sleep
Now let’s go ahead and talk about how it improves in sleep. This is how I originally got turned onto red light therapy. I have battled with sleep for a long time. There was a period of my life where I was really struggling, if no matter what, I could not get through the night. It was just brutal. It’s every half an hour or just periods of insomnia. Well, red light therapy plays a huge role in that for a lot of people. But for me, that’s how I got turned on to it. So let’s explain how that works. You see we have a particular part of the hypothalamus, a portion of our brain that’s called the super key asthmatic nucleus. The super key has not a nucleus is responsible for regulating our melatonin production, but also regulating our temperature, which again plays a role of us going to sleep. If our body cools down, we go to sleep.
Now a lot of people have thought that it’s just the simple reaction of some red light triggering response within our body to make us go to sleep. But what it is is it’s sort of mimicking a circadian rhythm at a heightened degree. So normally we’re supposed to be exposed to certain amounts of red light. Okay, red light is going to be in the morning, right? So when you wake up in the morning and you expose yourself to light from the sun, that is generally red light. The morning light is red light. And that’s why when we get up in the morning and we get outside, a lot of times our rhythms start to balance. But this day and age we’re so exposed to blue light. We spent so much of our lives in doors that were not getting the right balance of red and blue light. We’re not getting that contrast.
So what red light therapy does is it amplifies the signaling. It overall enhances our ability to ultimately get to sleep. Now don’t take my word for it. Here’s an interesting study. The journal of athletic training took a look at two groups of individuals. 10 female volunteers were exposed to red light therapy and 10 female volunteers that were exposed to a placebo. For 14 days, they had them utilize red light therapy for 30 minutes in the red light group while the other group received placebo. They wanted to measure a few things. They wanted to measure their overall quality of sleep based on a questionnaire, but then they wanted to also measure their overall melatonin serum levels. And then they wanted to measure their performance in a 12 minute run, see how it affected their performance the next day. Well, here’s what’s interesting.
The red light therapy group after 14 days showed significant improvement compared to the placebo group on all counts, but the one that’s truly measurable, which is the melatonin levels was where we really saw something interesting. The red light group had an increase of 38 Pico grams per milliliter of melatonin versus the other group 21 so almost double the amount of melatonin being produced in the red light group compared to the other. Simply proving that from a hormonal side and a neurotransmitter side, we were getting a positive result on sleep simply by utilizing red light therapy for just a few days. That’s all it took. So sleep was the entry point for my relationship with red light therapy.
The next question is “what device should I buy if I want to try this at home?” Hooga is the leader when it comes down to red light therapy devices. No one else was doing it better than them. They figured out red light therapy and they figured out infrared therapy if you want to have them combined. So I utilize my juke devices all the time. I have my portable little one that I travel with, but then I had my big panels that I use and I’m here at my office now. My office is also my kitchen studio and is also my gym. So I’ll use it before I work out and a lot of times I’ll use it before I go home. So I noticed a huge improvement in my overall mental capacity. But overall I just feel like I have more energy. So I wanted to make sure that anyone that’s watching this video that wants to try red light therapy doesn’t have to go and subscribe to some expensive membership at a gym or something like that.
Red Light Therapy for Improved Athletic Performance
The next benefit to red light therapy is how it boosts
overall performance and recovery. This is where things really start to shine.
And if you wanted to try red light therapy, this would be a great reason to
just because you see an improvement in your overall recovery and your
performance. So this study was published in the journal lasers, a medicinal
science took a look at 40 people divided into two groups. Once again, okay. Now
both of these groups, they had perform a quadriceps exercises. They wanted to
push their muscles to fatigue, and then they exposed one group to red light
therapy, isolated to the quadricep and another group just to placebo.
Well, they wanted to measure a few things. They wanted to measure maximum voluntary contraction strength. Then they also wanted to measure overall creatine kinase levels and then they also wanted to measure delayed onset muscle soreness. How much did it actually help with recovery? Well, they found that just utilizing the red light therapy alone improved all markers. Now they measured at multiple times, so they exposed to red light therapy and then they measured levels at one minute, at one hour, at 24 hours, at 48 hours, at 72 hours in 96 hours and they found again the red light therapy group showed improvement throughout the entire continuum throughout every single allotted testing period. So a little bit of red light therapy right after a workout, boosted recovery, reduced muscle soreness, reduced creating kinase levels, and ultimately made it to the muscle contracts tighter. Again, this all has to do with the mitochondria.
It has to do with the mitochondria pumping out more ATP, but also a decrease in tumor necrosis factor alpha. That made it so that the body was able to recover. So imagine more energy with more recovery all happening sorta from one epicenter. This is really important stuff. Okay. Now lastly, we factor in the brain boosting effect. Now this is still being discovered. We’re still trying to figure out exactly what’s going on here, but we are noticing that those that utilize red light therapy have a big decrease in beta amyloid plaque. Now beta amyloid plaque doesn’t just contribute to Alzheimer’s beta amyloid plaque can just slow down your cognitive function altogether. So a lot of the studies are starting to allude to the fact that it’s something to do with neurogenesis. So red lights are somehow affecting our neurogenesis, affecting the ability to grow new neurons and grow new nerve cells.
So however it’s doing this, we don’t really know, but we’re seeing an influx of STEM cells as well. So red light therapy is improving. STEM cells are being produced in the mirror, which could be having a big result in our brain later on down the line. A lot of this is just a chain reaction. We’re having success in one area of the body and it’s balancing things out, whether it be from an endocrine standpoint or whether it be from a neurological standpoint. But at the end of the day it’s all coming together to make us feel better through and through. So if you’re really looking to optimize yourself and get the most out of everything you’re doing, red light therapy truly is something that you could add to your daily life that’s going to help you in that department. It’s weird at first you’re just standing in front of a red light, but the reality is this special kind of light has the ability to penetrate through your skin and do some pretty interesting stuff.
Now, if I could look at my crystal ball, I would say that honestly in the next three to four years we’re going to start seeing even more very concrete research coming out from very reputable journals to showing that we have very powerful effects with red light therapy. And again, if you want to check out a red light therapy device that actually works and has done a lot of the research themselves, check out hooga!
Fall is a common condition in children and usually is a symptom of some other underlying health condition. In dry cough, there is no phlem present and the child will complain of an itchy and dry throat. The affected child voice will sound horse and he or she may become irritable and easily exhausted. Such cough can cause difficulty in swallowing and also results in a loss of appetite. Coughing is a natural body relex which keeps the lungs, throat and the airway clear of foreign material. However, constant coughing is irritable and requires treatment. One of the most general causes of dry cough is common cold. Sometimes it is a result of other diseases such as laryngitis, pneumonia, sinus infection or auto viral infection of the respiratory tract. If your child is allergic to pollution, dust or smoke, then coming in contact with these allergens while playing outdoors can lead to dry cough. If the cough persists for a prolonged period it’s best to plan a trip to the doctor.
At home, you can prepare these natural remedies to help your child get relief from this condition. Soak almonds in water overnight. Feel the skin in the morning and crush them to make a paste. Add one tablespoon of melted butter. Add one tablespoon of sugar mix it will give this to the child once every morning and evening.
Take one teaspoon of basil paste and extract it with a sieve and spoon. Then add one teaspoon of ginger paste and press it through a sieve into a small bowl. Add three teaspoons of honey and mix it well. Then give half a teaspoon of this mixture three times in a day.
Take a cup of warm water. Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder. Then add one teaspoon of Carom seed powder. Mix it well and give this to your child twice a day.

Turmeric is known to be effective for a variety of remedies. However, few people know that turmeric is more effective than many over-the-counter and prescription drugs. Read on to learn about how turmeric can be used to treat many ailments, without the potential side effects that come along with many pharmaceuticals.
1. Lipitor (atorvastatin)
Lipitor is a popular and effective drug for high cholesterol. However, a survey recently published in R&D Journal for Drugs revealed that turmeric was more effective than Lipitor when it comes to endothelial dysfunction. It is this dysfunction that affects inflammation and oxidative stress in the blood vessels.
Aspirin is used primarily to thin the blood and prevent clotting, which makes it a good resource for those prone to or suffering from heart attacks. Studies have shown that turmeric can effectively replace aspirin for individuals that are at risk for vascular thrombosis as well as arthritis.
3. Prozac, Fluoxetine, and Imipramine
These drugs are all prescribed to treat depression. However, turmeric was shown to be a more effective anti-depressant than these drugs, in a study published by Acta Pharmaceutica Poloniae Journal.
Phytotherapy Research Journal published a study that revealed turmeric’s incredible effect on inflammatory eye disease. In fact, curcumin, which is found in turmeric, was found to be more effective than steroids in treating this inflammation. Turmeric is also free of the many negative side effects that can accompany steroids, such as mood swings, hair growth, and more.
This drug is often used in chemotherapy to reduce the spread of cancer. A study published in The International Cancer Journal showed that turmeric may be as effective as oxaliplatin in preventing proliferation.
6. Anti-inflammatory Drugs
This list includes ibuprofen, sulindac, phenylbutazone, Naproxen, Indomethacin, dexamethasone, and Tamoxifen. An Oncogene Journal study revealed that turmeric is more effective in reducing inflammation than all of these drugs mentioned, as well as others.
If you suffer from diabetes, you likely know exactly what Metformin is, which is a common drug prescribed to increase glucose uptake and decrease glucose formation in hematoma cells. A study found in The Biochemistry and Biophysical Journal showed that turmeric can effectively combat diabetes, and may be up to 1,000 more effective than Metformin.
Clearly, turmeric has some pretty impressive medicinal benefits. Even better, turmeric does not pose many of the risks that are associated with pharmaceutical drugs, such as stomach and liver damage, drowsiness, mood swings, and more. Whether you’re suffering from a run-of-the-mill headache or one of the more serious symptoms discussed above, try reaching for some turmeric for a quick and effective remedy, and leave that pill bottle in the medicine cabinet.
Chronic inflammation has been linked to many contemporary illnesses and can be brought on by things such as a poor diet. When left untreated, chronic inflammation can lead to damage in the body including the immune, digestive, cardiovascular, central, and endocrine systems—which will then lead to a number of different diseases.
To heal and treat inflammation, these are a few natural approaches that will not cause any adverse side effects.
1. Frankincense (Boswellia)
Along with the boswellia plant, frankincense contains boswellic acids, known for their anti-inflammatory properties. These substances will suppress the state of leukotrienes, the chemicals that cause inflammation inside of the body. It can help to treat ulcerative colitis, asthma, and rheumatoid arthritis.
2. Turmeric (Curcumin)
Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, is the subject of hundreds of studies that show the anti-inflammatory benefits. It aids in treating conditions like prostasis, osteoarthritis, indigestion, Alzheimer’s, Crohn’s, and many other diseases. When inflammatory cytokine levels are modulated inside of the body, turmeric can help with a large array of illnesses.
This blue-green microalgae is gaining popularity and is gaining way with notable superfoods. The anti-inflammatory properties of this substance have been studied by researchers, as it can help to modulate a few of the transcription factors that are linked to inflammation. When consumed, spirulina will exert anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities.
4. Vitamin D
A little bit of sunlight can cure many things, and it is possibly the easiest way to relieve inflammation-related issues. There are many peer-reviewed studies that show how a lack of vitamin D can contribute to a number of illnesses, ranging from cancer to autism. Vitamin D can be obtained not only through natural exposure to sunlight but also through high-quality supplements.
5. Break Habits
Aside from incorporating these items that have anti-inflammatory properties into your life, those that suffer from chronic inflammation may benefit from a change in the way that they live. These are a few steps to be taken in order to further reduce the causes of inflammation that are present in an environment.
It is advised to stop smoking and using stimulants like alcohol or caffeine. If it is not possible to completely eliminate them, then try to moderate the intake at first. These things will place a heavy burden on the body and should be eliminated from intake eventually.
Your surroundings should be as “green” as possible. Switch to using natural alternatives for cleaning products and detergents. Use high-quality air filters in your home to filter out the most impurities as possible. Bringing in house plants can help with filtering the air in the home as well. If you are unsure about the quality of your air or water, you should request having tests on it done.
Take part in a cleansing program or gentle detox a few times a year will help to cleanse the body of toxins. It is impossible to totally eliminate your exposure from environmental toxins, so detoxifying in this manner periodically will rapidly but gently get rid of systemic inflammation.
House mold is one of those pesky problems that inconvenience many homeowners and can be very detrimental to health. They are largely linked to lack of ventilation within the home and usually trigger respiratory problems and bouts of allergies. Mold also intensifies symptoms for those who have asthma and sinus problems. Below you’ll learn of a few safe ways to stop mold from invading your home plus how to get rid of them.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is a natural fungicide and is therefore helpful in killing and preventing mold and mildew. Simply add 10-15 drops of the oil to a spray bottle filled with water. Shake the mixture well then spray onto hard surfaces where mold appears. Leave the solution to work on the area for a while before wiping it off.
Purify the Air
Be sure that the air in your home is rid of as many spores as possible to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. You can achieve cleaner air by investing in an air purifier or by having filters installed in air vents. Keeping windows open to promote air circulation is also helpful in avoiding excessive moisture which is the ideal environment for mold to thrive in.
If you happen to have a cheap bottle of this strong spirit lying around then it may come in handier than you think! Vodka is another great safe method for cleaning away unwanted mold. Just use a spray bottle to apply the vodka directly to the area and wipe it clean.
Another good remedy to get rid of mold is using plain white vinegar. Vinegar is one of those cleaning ingredients that has been around for a long time and is probably already in your kitchen. It is naturally antimicrobial and works at killing unwanted fungus on spot. Simply fill a spray bottle with vinegar and spray it on target!
Baking Soda Solution
Baking soda has long been held as a cleaning companion for various uses. You can team baking soda and tea tree oil to make a powerful home cleaning concoction. This process is a little more tedious and longer than others, but in the end, it will be well worth it.
All that’s needed is a half cup of baking soda, 2 cups of water, and 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil. Thoroughly mix the water with the tea tree oil. Spray this solution onto the mold and let it sit for approximately 24 hours.
Repeat the process by mixing the same solution again but this time include the baking soda until it forms a paste-like consistency. Use this paste to smear over the same spot and scrub until it’s all gone.
Reseal Grout and Tiles
If you have removed mold from your grout and tiles you may want to reseal the area to prevent it from reappearing. The bathroom, in particular, is a feeding ground for mold and mildew because of moisture and poor air circulation. If you notice that your grout is starting to stain or is holding onto water, this could be a good sign that it needs resealing.
- Invest in a dehumidifier to get rid of moisture and dry damp areas.
- Install filters on air vents.
- Fix leaks and have plumbing issues looked after.
- Quickly clean up spills.
- Open doors and windows to promote air circulation.
- Keep clothes and other fabrics dry and don’t leave wet clothes lying around.
- Let in fresh air and sunlight
- Clear air conditioning drip pans regularly.
- Replace mildew-ridden shower curtains immediately.
Remember, prevention is key—mold and mildew love warm, humid areas, like bathrooms or a damp basement. There is no need to use bleach or other toxic cleaning substances, these natural and preventative methods will work well to fix small household mold problems.
